Senior Product Owner – Digital Onboarding

About the role

Al Hilal Bank is seeking a Senior Product Owner to lead the Digital Onboarding experience for its retail and micro‑business customers. You will shape the product vision, drive digital innovation, and ensure alignment with the bank’s strategic goals and Shari’ah compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Define and manage the end‑to‑end digital onboarding product vision, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Translate the vision into detailed roadmaps, breaking work into value streams, themes, epics and user stories.
• Develop and monitor agile and strategic metrics to track squad performance and product value.
• Conduct competitor and customer research, analyse data, and prioritize features based on feedback and business impact.
• Identify and remove blockers, manage dependencies, mitigate risks and reduce technical debt.
• Ensure all solutions comply with Islamic Banking Principles and relevant regulatory policies.
• Coach and mentor Product Owners on product lifecycle, road‑mapping, value realization and risk management.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in product ownership or product management, preferably in digital banking or fintech.
• Proven track record of delivering complex digital products in an agile environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
• Excellent stakeholder relationship management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Islamic banking principles and regulatory compliance.
