Senior Project Engineer - Industrial Refrigeration

About the role

The Senior Project Engineer leads engineering activities for industrial refrigeration (IREF) projects, ensuring technical compliance, timely delivery, and seamless integration between design, procurement, and site execution. The role supports both pre‑sales and post‑sales phases, protecting margins and aligning with client and consultant requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all engineering activities across project phases, delivering accurate technical documents on schedule.
• Review and validate IFC and shop drawings, provide technical clarifications, and manage material submittals.
• Support procurement with technical evaluations and ensure specification compliance.
• Resolve site engineering issues, provide installation guidance, and support start‑up, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Manage technical interfaces between design, procurement, QA/QC, and execution teams to avoid rework.
• Identify engineering risks early and propose mitigation plans to protect schedule and margin.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Refrigeration Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• PMP or equivalent project‑management certification.
• Minimum five years of experience in industrial or large‑scale commercial refrigeration projects, EPC, or MEP.
• Proven track record in project engineering, design coordination, and site technical support.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and work independently or within multidisciplinary teams.

• AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor (2D/3D CAD).
• Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, Visio.
• Adobe Acrobat and Windows operating systems.
• Project management and risk mitigation.
• Technical documentation, testing & commissioning procedures.
