Senior Project Engineer

About the role

The Senior Project Engineer will join Worley’s Abu Dhabi team to lead and coordinate EPC project activities in the petroleum and chemical sector. The role focuses on contractor performance, technical communication, and ensuring compliance with ADNOC VAP procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Review contractor deliverables against contractual and scheduled requirements.
• Monitor and report contractor performance, maintaining action logs and weekly updates.
• Coordinate technical communication between contractors, licensors and Worley stakeholders.
• Prepare weekly, monthly and BPSC presentation materials for project manager approval.
• Enforce the Management of Change process and ensure proper filing of all project documents.
• Support continuous risk analysis, confidentiality procedures and related training.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the petroleum/chemical industry.
• Strong knowledge of EPC contracts and licensor agreements.
• GCC/UAE experience and site‑based project execution background.
