Senior Project Engineer – Water Treatment Projects

About the role

The Senior Project Engineer will lead end‑to‑end execution of large‑scale water treatment, desalination and infrastructure projects in Sharjah, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, quality standards and timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive project execution plans covering scope, schedule, cost, quality and risk.
• Allocate and manage resources – manpower, equipment, subcontractors and materials – across all project phases.
• Lead proactive risk identification, assessment and mitigation, maintaining risk registers and corrective actions.
• Monitor project budgets, control costs and ensure adherence to contractual obligations and client‑approved timelines.
• Act as primary interface for clients, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders, conducting regular progress meetings.
• Oversee procurement coordination, vendor performance and negotiate technical/commercial terms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience managing water treatment, desalination or related EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, budgeting and risk management.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and negotiation abilities.
