Senior Project Finance Manager

About the role

Senior Project Finance Manager is responsible for managing the governance and project financial reporting of bank‑wide technology projects. The role works closely with the technology function, the Head of Tech and the Transformation Office to ensure financial discipline across initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Drive financial reporting and budgeting for all technology projects in alignment with the Transformation Office.
• Review and evaluate executive summaries and CapEx proposals to ensure completeness and compliance.
• Create and maintain project records in Oracle, assign approved budgets and monitor expenditures.
• Provide timely financial dashboards and reports to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and CAD to capitalize projects and record fixed assets.
• Alert management to cost overruns, under‑utilisation or budget deviations.
• Validate chargeability, correct item codes and general ledger entries in Oracle.
• Oversee project closure activities, including system finalisation and unused LPO reconciliation.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, CA or MBA Finance.
• 5‑8 years of banking experience managing financial aspects of multiple technology projects.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills in English and a team‑player attitude.
