Senior Project Manager – Buildings

About the role

AtkinsRealis is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Buildings to lead the delivery of large‑scale villa community projects in Abu Dhabi. The role combines strategic planning, schedule control and risk management to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a high‑level project management framework and detailed execution plan.
• Create, review and control the master programme, ensuring alignment with the project WBS.
• Monitor progress, lead delay mitigation strategies and coordinate updates with all stakeholders.
• Implement and oversee a formal risk management process, chair risk meetings and drive mitigation actions.
• Ensure contract programmes are approved, updated and fully integrated into the project schedule.
• Manage construction‑phase activities, fostering collaboration among clients, contractors and internal teams.
• Take ownership of time control, early warning protocols and change management.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years (180 months) of experience in construction project management, preferably large villa or residential communities.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience delivering projects within agreed budgets.
• Excellent analytical and decision‑making skills, with a focus on risk and schedule control.
