Senior Project Manager – Development

About the role

Arada is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead end‑to‑end execution of development projects in Sharjah, from design through handover. You will work closely with internal teams, consultants, contractors and authorities to deliver projects that meet strategic, quality and commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor and deliver assigned development projects across all phases, including design, approvals, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and defects liability.
• Develop and maintain detailed execution plans, schedules, budgets and risk registers, and take corrective actions when milestones are at risk.
• Coordinate with the Design Management team to ensure designs meet regulatory, cost and feasibility requirements while driving value‑engineering initiatives.
• Oversee contractors and consultants, conduct site inspections, monitor progress, quality, health & safety and ensure practical completion and handover.
• Work with Commercial and Procurement to monitor budgets, review variations, claims and support contract administration.
• Act as primary contact for internal stakeholders and external authorities, securing approvals and building strong partner relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field; advanced degrees or certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, RICS, CIOB) are a plus.
• 10–15 years of experience in real‑estate development or project management, with at least 5 years managing large‑scale mixed‑use, residential, hospitality, retail or commercial projects in the UAE.
• Proven experience with master developers or leading real‑estate developers and deep knowledge of UAE authority approval processes.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and commercial acumen.
