Senior Project Manager – High-Speed Rail, Abu Dhabi

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a major high‑speed rail package in Abu Dhabi. You will oversee all phases of the project, from concept through construction and operations, ensuring delivery against schedule, cost, and quality targets.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage the full project lifecycle, including design, procurement, construction and commissioning.
• Monitor contractor performance, enforce compliance with standards, and secure approvals from client and local authorities.
• Implement and supervise quality, health‑safety, and environmental standards, conducting regular inspections.
• Lead stakeholder engagement, produce progress reports, and manage change control within the wider programme.
• Develop and maintain project management, systems integration, testing & commissioning, and QA/QC plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Chartered Engineer status preferred) with at least 15 years of experience managing design and construction of rail projects, preferably high‑speed rail.
• Proven track record in leading multi‑disciplinary rail civil packages, strong commercial and financial awareness, and ability to communicate complex technical matters to non‑technical audiences.
