Senior Project Manager – Infrastructure Design

About the role

Parsons is looking for a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the design delivery of complex infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, direct and control all business, technical, commercial, fiscal and administrative functions of assigned infrastructure projects.
• Lead major infrastructure construction works, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement project execution, health‑and‑safety, quality, environmental and risk management plans.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams, allocate responsibilities and mobilise resources to meet project objectives.
• Act as primary client interface, negotiate scope changes and maintain effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee project planning and controls, including budgets, schedules, risk and change management, and recovery strategies.
• Monitor contractor performance, supervise construction, administer contracts and coordinate with consultants, utility authorities and government stakeholders.
• Support business development by identifying additional service opportunities and nurturing client relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related technical/business field.
• Minimum 18 years of experience in design and construction of infrastructure projects, with exposure to the UAE/GCC market.
• Proven track record managing multidisciplinary infrastructure projects from construction through handover.
• Strong understanding of design delivery for roads, bridges, utilities, drainage, public realm and related civil works.
• In‑depth knowledge of engineering, procurement, construction, contract administration and project controls.
