Senior Project Manager - Infrastructure Projects

About the role

Turner & Townsend is looking for a Senior Project Manager in Abu Dhabi to lead the planning, execution and delivery of major infrastructure projects across Abu Dhabi and the UAE. The role covers the full project lifecycle, from feasibility and design through to commissioning and close-out, and involves managing multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project delivery from feasibility, planning, design, procurement, execution, commissioning to close-out.
• Manage project teams, consultants, contractors and specialist advisors, and oversee contractor and consultant performance, contract administration, variations and claims.
• Develop and maintain execution plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers and reporting frameworks, and monitor performance with corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, governance standards, contracts and regulations.
• Manage stakeholder engagement with clients, authorities and partners, and run project reviews.
• Lead risk management and prepare progress reports, dashboards and executive summaries for clients and senior management.
• Support business development, proposals and client relationship work, and mentor junior project managers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 12+ years of experience in the real estate industry.
• Experience on transportation, roads, utilities, aviation, rail, water, energy or urban development projects.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, consultants and contractors.
