Senior Project Manager - Large-Scale Mixed-Use Developments

About the role

Currie & Brown is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join its team in Dubai, with major experience working on large-scale mixed-use developments. The role is accountable for the delivery of large and complex projects, from definition through to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Define and deliver large-scale, complex projects and lead a large team, setting objectives, managing performance and ensuring staff have the skills needed.
• Establish project delivery plans, controls and governance mechanisms, and manage multiple consultants and contractors.
• Work within established financial systems to produce plans and schedules, track budgets and highlight variances to control delivery targets.
• Implement and manage project processes and policies based on industry best practice, and recommend improvements.
• Raise project risks and issues to senior managers with proposed mitigations, and report progress and expectations to clients and stakeholders.
• Analyse complex information from various data sources to advise on the implications and mitigations of different options.
• Act as a technical expert, giving strategic advice to senior managers, and ensure compliance with contracts in terms of scope and delivery parameters.
• Develop and manage team leaders, and turn business objectives into operational financial targets, including clear business cases, plans and schedules.
• Take responsibility for meeting the project's profit and budgetary targets, and contribute to talent development and succession planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Project management professional certification or accreditation.
• Previous experience leading large-scale and complex projects.
• Proven ability to manage, motivate and lead large teams.
• Strong pre-contract and post-contract experience, and excellent contract administration experience.
• Experience managing stakeholders at executive level.
