Senior Project Manager - Luxury Retail Fit-outs

About the role

Made Retail, a partner for global brands designing pop-ups, counters, gondolas, exhibitions and visual merchandising solutions, is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager in Dubai. The role leads planning, coordination and execution of high-end projects such as POSM, podiums, pop-ups, windows and permanent projects, from concept through handover, on time, within budget and to the required quality standard. Key responsibilities

• Lead projects from planning and design coordination through execution, completion and handover
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocation and execution methods
• Monitor progress against timelines, budgets, milestones and contracts
• Manage clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams; act as main client contact
• Oversee cost control, budget monitoring, procurement, variation orders and profitability
• Identify risks and delays and implement proactive solutions
• Handle procurement: supplier selection, quotations, material approvals, purchase orders and delivery schedules
• Review technical drawings, shop drawings, material specs and design submissions
• Ensure compliance with approved designs, quality standards, health and safety and UAE regulations
• Conduct site visits and progress meetings, manage approvals, clearances and quality control, snagging and rectification
• Prepare project reports, risk assessments and completion documentation; manage scope changes

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior or Project Manager in construction, interior fit-out, luxury retail or related fields
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design or a related field
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is an advantage; construction, contract administration, cost control or health and safety training is desirable
• Preferred: experience with high-end retail, podiums, pop-ups and bespoke fit-outs, and projects in the UAE

Required skills

• AutoCAD, SketchUp and Microsoft Office Suite
• Project management methodologies, construction processes, procurement, budgeting and cost control
• Reading technical drawings, BOQs, schedules and contracts
• Strong leadership, negotiation and stakeholder management
• Knowledge of UAE construction practices, suppliers, subcontractors and authority requirements
