Senior Project Manager – Master Planning & Infrastructure

About the role

WSP is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the master planning and infrastructure design of complex land development projects in the UAE. The role involves overseeing multidisciplinary teams and ensuring projects meet client objectives, regulatory standards, and sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage land development master planning and design projects, including transport, roads, utilities, and landscape works.
• Build and mentor cross‑functional project teams, providing guidance and motivation.
• Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring deliverables align with expectations and budgets.
• Develop and control project budgets, monitor expenditures, and allocate resources efficiently.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Create work breakdown structures, schedules, and monitor progress to manage scope and avoid creep.
• Implement WSP quality processes and maintain a quality‑focused culture.
• Oversee procurement activities, manage contracts, change control and commercial aspects.

Required profile

• Extensive planning/design‑stage project management experience in land development.
• Strong technical understanding of master planning, infrastructure, transport planning, landscaping and sustainability.
• Proven experience delivering large‑scale projects in the UAE.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams from inception to completion.
