Senior Project Manager – Mixed‑Use Development

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead mixed‑use development projects in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for delivering complex, multi‑phase projects that combine residential, commercial, retail and hospitality components, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Direct all phases of mixed‑use project development from planning through completion.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules and budgets; monitor progress and implement corrective actions.
• Manage project budgets, procurement, vendor relationships and contract negotiations.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks; create contingency plans.
• Coordinate and communicate with clients, architects, contractors, consultants and government agencies.
• Oversee site operations and ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Prepare and present regular status reports, financial forecasts and performance metrics to senior management.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, change orders and records throughout the lifecycle.
• Ensure sustainable building practices and compliance with green building standards where applicable.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of project management experience in mixed‑use development or large‑scale construction.
• Proven expertise in budget management, cost control and financial forecasting.
• Strong proficiency with project management software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
• Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary teams and complex stakeholder relationships.
• Solid understanding of construction methodologies, building codes and industry best practices.
• Advanced contract negotiation and risk‑management capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience in the UAE or GCC region and familiarity with local regulations is highly desirable.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of sustainable and green building practices is a plus.
