Senior Project Manager – Real Estate & Hotel Projects

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will lead hospitality, commercial and residential development projects from design inception through construction and handover, ensuring delivery within time, quality and budget constraints. The role requires close coordination with business units, planning, facility management and external consultants to integrate Al‑Futtaim brand products where appropriate.

Key responsibilities

• Lead internal and external consultants, contractors and commercial staff, delegating tasks and providing training to achieve project goals.
• Ensure projects meet defined quality standards and obtain completion certificates.
• Monitor progress against programme targets, keeping all stakeholders informed and taking corrective actions when needed.
• Control project costs, submit timely cost reports and strive to deliver within or below budget.
• Conduct value‑engineering exercises to maintain engineered solutions within cost parameters.
• Staff the project with competent site personnel and provide on‑the‑job training for engineers.
• Maintain comprehensive records of project activities and documentation required for handover.
• Evaluate and participate in the selection of suitable suppliers and contractors.

Required profile

• 15–20 years of construction experience with a project‑management background.
• At least 10 years in a leadership role within a multinational environment.
• University degree in Civil Engineering and Building.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and MS Project.
