Senior Project Manager – Retail & Mixed‑Use Projects

About the role

WSP is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the strategic delivery of complex retail and mixed‑use developments in Dubai. You will drive projects from concept through construction, ensuring alignment with client objectives, brand standards and fast‑track retail programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project set‑up, contract finalisation, and mobilisation of multidisciplinary teams.
• Define, agree and manage scope across all disciplines, coordinating sub‑consultants and handling variations.
• Act as primary interface with clients, operators, tenants and authorities, delivering executive‑level reporting and workshops.
• Develop and maintain detailed programmes using Primavera P6, managing risks and ensuring phased handovers.
• Oversee design coordination, ensuring compliance with brand standards, operational requirements and technical solutions.
• Establish and manage the project risk register, implementing mitigation strategies and escalating critical issues.
• Control project finances, budgeting, invoicing and variation negotiations.
• Guide project delivery to completion, coordinating phased handovers and project close‑out documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field.
• 13+ years of professional experience delivering complex retail or mixed‑use projects, from concept to construction.
• Proven experience managing large multidisciplinary teams and multiple stakeholder groups.
• Demonstrated ability to lead commercial aspects, programme and risk management for fast‑track retail programmes.
