Senior QA Automation Engineer

About the role

The Senior QA Automation Engineer will design, build, and maintain automation frameworks for IC Markets' web‑based trading platforms, internal tools, and Salesforce CRM. You will embed AI‑assisted testing into CI/CD pipelines and champion a shift‑left testing culture across development, DevOps, and CRM teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and sustain end‑to‑end automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript for UI, API, and integration testing, including Salesforce Lightning components.
• Integrate automated tests into GitHub Actions pipelines, enforce quality gates, and manage test planning via QMetry for Jira.
• Design load and stress testing suites with k6 and JMeter, and collaborate with Cloud/DevOps teams to run tests in AWS staging environments.
• Implement AI‑augmented QA workflows using Claude, OpenAI APIs, and n8n to automate test case generation, ticket triage, and reporting.

Required profile

• Extensive hands‑on experience with Playwright for scalable, cross‑browser automation.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools, especially GitHub Actions, and experience integrating tests into cloud‑based pipelines.
• Solid background in API testing (Postman), performance testing (k6, JMeter), and test management with QMetry for Jira.
• Demonstrated ability to incorporate AI/LLM tools into QA processes.
