Senior QA Automation Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks for high‑impact software projects. This remote contract position works closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure quality, reliability, and continuous delivery across multiple platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test scripts using frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Execute and maintain automated test suites to validate functionality, performance, and security.
• Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with developers and product teams.
• Analyze test results, document defects, and work with engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best testing practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in QA automation engineering.
• Proficiency in scripting languages Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Strong knowledge of automated testing tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, and Postman.
• Experience with test frameworks like Cucumber, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) for test integration.
• Ability to analyze complex system behavior and troubleshoot test failures.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and branching strategies.
