Senior QA/QC Engineer

About the role

The Senior QA/QC Engineer will lead quality management for EPC/FEED projects, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, project specifications and client requirements. The role involves coordinating with multidisciplinary engineers, overseeing audits, and driving continuous improvement across the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Champion project safety culture and engage in safety activities.
• Identify, evaluate and resolve quality issues during EPC/FEED phases.
• Coordinate quality management tasks with engineers during construction.
• Establish, maintain and implement project quality procedures for contractors.
• Plan and conduct internal quality audits and issue audit reports.
• Review, approve and monitor contractor quality plans, QC procedures and inspection & test plans.
• Manage non‑conformity reports, corrective actions and ensure NCR closure.
• Monitor performance of third‑party inspectors and vendor quality systems.
• Develop and review monthly quality reports and project quality documentation.
• Implement and maintain the project quality management system in line with ISO 9001.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in oil & gas or petrochemical industry.
• At least 5 years of experience in the GCC region, with 3 years in a similar senior role on international projects.
• Proven experience with PMC and ADNOC projects, offshore and FEED/EPC contracts.
• Strong background in quality assurance, audits and continuous improvement.
