Senior Quality Assurance / Quality Control Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior QA/QC Engineer to join our team at a leading main contractor in Dubai. The ideal candidate will ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance are maintained throughout all stages of our construction projects, including high‑rise buildings up to 30 floors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement QA/QC procedures and policies in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct regular on‑site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Review and approve quality control documentation, such as method statements and inspection and test plans (ITPs).
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to address quality‑related issues and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Maintain accurate records of quality control activities and prepare reports for management and stakeholders.
• Lead quality training sessions and workshops for project personnel.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and relevant regulations to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Minimum 13+ years of QA/QC engineering experience in construction, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
• Strong knowledge of ISO standards, quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience managing QA/QC for large‑scale construction projects.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
