Senior Quantity Surveyor – Roads & Infrastructure (RTA Experience)

About the role

AECOM is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor with extensive experience in roads and infrastructure projects, particularly those involving the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). The role is based in Dubai and involves delivering high‑quality surveying and quantity surveying services for complex infrastructure works.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct surveys to locate natural features and man‑made structures using electronic distance‑measuring equipment and other surveying instruments.
• Operate and manage land‑information computer systems, storing data, generating inquiries, and producing plots and reports.
• Review survey team data on distances, angles, elevations, and contours both above and below ground.
• Research legal records to verify boundary lines and analyse historical boundary evidence.
• Record survey results, verify data accuracy, and prepare plots, maps and detailed reports.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably on large‑scale road and infrastructure projects.
• Previous experience with RTA projects; prior RTA approval is preferable.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on diverse and complex problems.

Required skills

• Operation of electronic distance‑measuring equipment and other surveying instruments.
• Proficiency with land‑information computer systems for data storage, analysis and reporting.
