Senior R&D Scientist – Chemistry

About the role

M42 Health is seeking a Senior R&D Scientist to lead innovative chemistry projects within its Integrated Health Solutions platform. The role focuses on method development, validation, and the implementation of cutting‑edge analytical technologies to support drug discovery, biobanking, and precision‑medicine initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute R&D projects, including analytical method development, optimization, validation, and verification.
• Design, conduct, interpret, and report chemistry experiments using advanced instrumentation.
• Expand laboratory testing capabilities while ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation such as SOPs, validation reports, and scientific publications.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to introduce emerging analytical technologies.

Required profile

• PhD or MSc in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or research laboratory setting.
• Proven track record of delivering high‑quality scientific outputs and managing R&D projects.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and quality standards (ISO/IEC 17025).
