Senior Record-to-Report Specialist / General Accountant

About the role

The Senior Record-to-Report (RTR) Specialist supports the Finance Shared Service Centre for Hilton hotels in Ras Al Khaimah. You will own month‑end closing, financial reporting, balance‑sheet reconciliation, VAT preparation and daily cash journal activities while ensuring compliance with internal and external audit requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead specific month‑end processes and ensure timely completion.
• Maintain the Fixed Cost Register with accurate contract data.
• Perform monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare VAT reconciliations and file VAT returns.
• Review hotel P&L statements and post necessary adjustments.
• Compile and distribute monthly financial reports for each hotel.
• Prepare the daily cash journal.
• Assist auditors by providing required documentation.
• Support additional finance tasks as directed by business operations.

Required profile

• Strong accounting knowledge with experience in hospitality or hotel finance.
• High school diploma minimum; university degree or accounting qualification preferred.
• Relevant experience as a General Accountant, Income Auditor, or Revenue Accountant.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, self‑starter attitude with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to analyse large data sets accurately and work collaboratively with on‑site and remote teams.
• Arabic speaking ability.
