Senior Registered Nurse - Endoscopy

About the role

The Senior Registered Nurse – Endoscopy will deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures at Speciality Hospital Abu Dhabi. The role involves coordinating care, educating patients and families, and collaborating with physicians and allied health professionals to ensure safe and effective treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform systematic patient assessments, collect and analyse clinical data, and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and monitor patients for side effects or reactions.
• Provide wound care management and assist in both invasive and non‑invasive medical procedures.
• Maintain and update technical and clinical competencies, including life‑support certifications.
• Record vital signs, recognise abnormalities and escalate care as needed.
• Facilitate safe patient admission, transfer and discharge in accordance with hospital policies.
• Educate patients and the public about health conditions and provide emotional support.

Required profile

• Valid Registered Nurse license from the relevant health authority and active professional licensure.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider certification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is desirable.
• Flexibility to work across departments as operational needs dictate.
