Senior Registered Nurse – Operating Theatre (OT)

About the role

Lead and manage the nursing team in the Operating Theatre, delivering patient‑centric, evidence‑based care while ensuring operational efficiency and positive patient experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership and management guidance to the OT nursing team.
• Ensure evidence‑based patient care practices are followed according to clinical standards.
• Develop employees and create an engaging environment for positive patient experiences.
• Manage clinical and non‑clinical resources cost‑effectively to enhance safe patient care.
• Maintain compliance with legislative, regulatory and clinical standards for continuous quality improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognised institute.
• Minimum 5 years OT nursing experience, preferably in a private hospital.
• At least 2 years senior OT nursing experience.

Required skills

• Implementation of the five stages of the Scientific Nursing Process.
• Knowledge of JCIA and related governance and regulatory standards.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Understanding of financial management, risk management and stock control principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
