Senior Registered Nurse – Outpatient

About the role

The Senior Registered Nurse – Outpatient will lead and manage the nursing team to deliver patient‑centric, evidence‑based care in an outpatient setting, ensuring operational efficiency and positive patient experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership and management guidance to the nursing team.
• Ensure evidence‑based patient care practices are followed according to clinical standards.
• Develop employees and create an engaging environment to enhance patient care experience.
• Manage clinical and non‑clinical resources cost‑effectively to support safe patient care.
• Maintain compliance with legislative, regulatory and clinical standards for continuous quality improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognised institute.
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience (preferably private hospital/clinic) with at least 2 years in a senior nursing role.

Required skills

• Implementation of the five stages of the Scientific Nursing Process.
• Knowledge of JCIA and related governance and regulatory standards.
• Application of nursing scope of practice within the regulatory framework.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Understanding of financial management principles.
• Risk management principles, systems and best practices.
• Stock control principles and management.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English.
