Senior Relationship Manager – Lease Rental Discounting

About the role

The Senior Relationship Manager will drive acquisition, origination and profitable growth of the Lease Rental Discounting (LRD) portfolio for the Emirati Gold segment. Reporting to the Retail Banking Group, the role balances client relationship building with rigorous credit and risk oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and convert new LRD prospects, achieving portfolio growth targets set in the annual business plan.
• Deepen existing client relationships by delivering customized financing solutions and cross‑sell opportunities.
• Ensure strict adherence to credit policies, underwriting standards, KYC/AML and CBUAE regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the credit team to structure transactions with acceptable risk profiles.
• Analyse market trends, competitor offerings and regulatory changes to inform product enhancements and pricing strategy.
• Monitor portfolio health, delinquencies and renewals to maintain asset quality and drive profitability.
• Coordinate with legal, compliance, product, strategy and operations teams within defined authority limits.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of real‑estate backed financing, leasing and commercial property markets.
• Proven experience in acquisition, origination and growth of LRD or similar financing portfolios.
• Ability to work within bank policies, risk appetite and regulatory frameworks while maintaining high client satisfaction.
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret market intelligence and translate it into actionable strategies.
