Senior Relationship Manager – Manufacturing

About the role

CBD, a leading bank in the UAE, is seeking a Senior Relationship Manager to lead and grow its manufacturing corporate banking portfolio. You will be responsible for maintaining strong client relationships, driving business development, and ensuring profitable growth in line with the bank’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and expand an assigned portfolio of corporate manufacturing clients, meeting growth and profitability targets.
• Identify, solicit, and acquire new corporate clients across assets, liabilities, trade, and treasury sales.
• Negotiate credit lines in accordance with underwriting standards and risk guidelines.
• Conduct regular client visits, record call reports, and monitor business opportunities.
• Collaborate with client service teams to cross‑sell products and increase share of wallet.
• Provide timely credit administration, including annual reviews and covenant monitoring.
• Lead a team of Assistant Relationship Managers and Support Officers, setting targets and delivering coaching.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate banking relationship management, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess credit risk and prepare detailed proposals.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, both internal and external.
• Leadership experience managing junior relationship staff.
