Senior Relationship Officer

About the role

The client, a leading bank in the UAE, is seeking a Senior Relationship Officer to work from its Al Dhafra branch in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on delivering high‑level branch banking services, supporting priority customers, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and internal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced branch banking and customer service support.
• Process complex and high‑value cash and non‑cash transactions.
• Manage escalated customer requests and resolve service issues efficiently.
• Assess client needs and recommend appropriate banking solutions.
• Maintain compliance with KYC/AML, internal policies, and operational controls.
• Identify business development and cross‑selling opportunities.

Required profile

• UAE National (Emiratisation requirement).
• Diploma or higher (high school not accepted).
• Minimum 4 years of experience in retail or branch banking, customer service, or banking operations.
• Willingness to work shift‑based branches (6 days/week, 6 hours/day) with rotating schedules.
• Strong communication, multitasking and time‑management abilities.
