Senior Resident Engineer

About the role

The Senior Resident Engineer will lead site supervision for large‑scale mega and giga developments across villa communities and high‑rise buildings in the UAE. You will ensure that construction delivers on design intent, complies with local authority regulations, meets quality standards, and stays on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end site supervision for mixed‑use, villa and high‑rise projects.
• Ensure construction follows approved drawings, specifications and UAE authority requirements (DM, DDA, Trakhees, etc.).
• Manage and mentor Resident Engineers, inspectors and discipline engineers.
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, method statements and technical documents.
• Monitor project progress, KPIs and schedules, driving timely delivery.
• Enforce quality assurance, quality control and HSE compliance across all sites.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and government authorities.
• Resolve complex technical and site issues and validate progress payments, variations and claims.
• Provide executive‑level reporting on progress, risks and mitigation plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 15+ years of experience, including significant UAE consultancy supervision experience.
• Proven track record delivering mega/giga residential and mixed‑use projects.
• Deep knowledge of UAE construction regulations and authority approvals.
• Experience managing multi‑package, high‑value projects.
• Professional certifications such as PMP or Chartered Engineer are preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Primavera scheduling software.
• Advanced AutoCAD skills.
• Strong MS Office competency.
