Senior Revenue Projects Analyst (Legislation)

About the role

A prominent Dubai-based organization is looking for a Senior Revenue Projects Analyst (Legislation) to support the analysis and development of revenue policies and initiatives. The role reviews existing and proposed legislation, assesses financial and economic impacts, conducts research and prepares recommendations, and coordinates revenue-related projects with stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of operational plans, KPIs and revenue-related initiatives.
• Review and analyze existing and proposed legislation, regulations and policies affecting revenue generation.
• Assess the financial and economic impact of proposed policies and regulatory changes and give recommendations.
• Review revenue-related projects submitted by stakeholders and monitor their progress through approval and implementation.
• Study new or amended fees, charges and fines, and analyze the impact of regulatory changes on revenue streams.
• Analyze financial and legislative data to identify trends, risks and opportunities, and report on them.
• Monitor the implementation of revenue policies and evaluate the effectiveness of controls and governance.
• Compare forecasted and actual revenues from new policies and develop financial impact scenarios.
• Provide revenue data and forecasts to support budgeting and financial planning, and maintain service pricing information on designated platforms.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders, and prepare technical reports, studies, presentations and project documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Strong understanding of legal frameworks, legislation and regulations.
• Experience in financial impact assessments, policy analysis or revenue-related projects, ideally involving taxation, fees or pricing structures.
• Ability to review legislation and turn regulatory requirements into financial and business implications.
