Senior Roller – Steel Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Roller to join our steel manufacturing operations in the UAE. The role involves operating high‑speed block mill equipment and ensuring the quality of long‑product steel coils.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor high‑speed block mill operations.
• Change passes, rings, and guides according to required rolling size.
• Inspect finished coils for product quality and weight tolerances.
• Troubleshoot rolling mill issues and assist in clearing cobbles.
• Guide team members and support shift operations.
• Maintain workplace cleanliness and strictly follow health, safety, and quality standards.
• Act as Shift Supervisor in the absence of the regular supervisor.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a long product rolling mill.
• Experience in high‑speed block mill operations is preferred.
• Knowledge of roll pass design, precision measuring instruments, and finished product quality standards.
