Senior Sales Engineer - Construction Claims

About the role

Soteria Consulting Services is looking for an experienced Senior Sales Engineer to support its business growth across the UAE. The company operates in Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE and offers Project Management and Construction Claims services to contractors and developers. The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, build client relationships and expand the company's presence in the UAE construction industry.

Key responsibilities

• Generate qualified business opportunities for Project Management and Construction Claims services across the UAE.
• Identify contractors and developers facing project delays, disruptions, variations or payment disputes and recommend suitable solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, developers, consultants, project owners and other stakeholders.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations and project needs assessments.
• Prepare and coordinate technical and commercial proposals with internal teams.
• Negotiate commercial terms and secure new business engagements.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, give regular progress updates and sales forecasts.
• Monitor market trends, upcoming construction projects and competitor activity.
• Represent the company at industry events, networking functions and exhibitions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in engineering sales or business development.
• Proven experience in the UAE market with a strong network in the construction industry.
• Demonstrated success in generating qualified leads and closing deals.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills in English; Arabic is an added advantage.
• Valid UAE driving licence, if required.
