Senior Sales Engineer – New Equipment

About the role

The Senior Sales Engineer will support new equipment operations, preparing contracts, estimating project costs and negotiating scope changes. The role also gathers market intelligence to position Otis as the preferred partner on competitive bids.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare contracts, negotiate and finalize agreements with clients under the guidance of the Manager – New Equipment.
• Develop pre‑qualification and technical documents to support new equipment proposals.
• Generate estimates and issue quotations based on project scope and Otis product offerings.
• Negotiate new equipment contracts with clients, addressing potential risks.
• Execute sales strategies to increase Otis market share across all product lines.
• Build strong relationships with developers and contractors to secure new equipment projects.
• Coordinate with After‑market and Service departments to implement contract terms.
• Conduct inspections of delivered equipment to verify completion of scope of work.
• Maintain the new equipment contracts database and provide regular status reports.
• Prepare sales reports and pipeline forecasts for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent; Master’s in Business Administration preferred.
• Minimum 5 years experience in elevator/escalator sales and marketing in the UAE.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Arabic.
