Senior Sales Engineer, Russian Speaking

About the role

Axon is looking for a high‑energy Senior Sales Engineer who can combine technical expertise with pre‑sales consulting for law‑enforcement and public‑safety customers. The role is based in Abu Dhabi and involves up to 70 % travel to engage with IT leaders, channel partners and end‑users across the United Arab Emirates.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical presentations and proof‑of‑concept pilots, coordinating logistics and tailoring solutions to customer requirements.
• Provide first‑level technical support throughout the pre‑sales cycle, including responding to RFPs/RFIs and developing Statements of Work.
• Maintain mastery of all Axon products, position them against competitors, and capture feedback for product management.
• Develop and nurture relationships with key partners and act as the brand ambassador at industry events.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and Russian with willingness to travel extensively.
• 5 + years of relevant experience, including 4 + years in customer‑facing pre‑sales or consulting roles.
• Experience selling SaaS‑based solutions and working with public procurement in the Middle East.
• Associate degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent, or comparable professional experience.

Required skills

• Networking, routing and switching (CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+ preferred).
• Cloud computing and virtualization technologies.
• End‑user compute, storage devices, operating systems and computer hardware.
• Technical writing for RFP/RFI responses and documentation.
• Knowledge of telecommunications, Internet technologies and SaaS solutions.
