Senior Site Engineer

About the role

IRTH Group is looking for a Senior Site Engineer to lead day‑to‑day site activities on construction projects in the United Arab Emirates. You will ensure that works are carried out safely, on schedule, and in full compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to drawings, method statements, and specifications.
• Plan daily and weekly tasks based on the project programme and site priorities.
• Track progress against targets, identify potential delays early, and take corrective actions.
• Allocate and manage manpower, materials, tools, and equipment efficiently.
• Review construction, shop, and design drawings; raise and resolve technical discrepancies.
• Prepare and review RFIs, inspection requests, and other project documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants, client representatives, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
• Attend and contribute to site, coordination, and inspection meetings.

Required profile

• Minimum 84 months (7 years) of relevant site engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction standards and regulations.
• Hands‑on experience with site execution, QA/QC, and HSE requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Effective communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.
