Senior Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join a globally distributed infrastructure team supporting a high‑throughput platform. Based in the United Arab Emirates, you will own the reliability and operational performance of critical production systems, working across cloud infrastructure, observability, incident response and capacity planning.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end reliability of production services, defining and maintaining SLIs, SLOs and error budgets.
• Improve alerting quality, lead high‑severity incident response and drive actionable post‑mortems.
• Design, operate and automate secure, resilient, cost‑efficient infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes/EKS and related cloud services.
• Develop production‑grade tooling and automation to reduce operational toil and enhance deployment safety.
• Conduct capacity planning, load testing, chaos engineering and on‑call duties to ensure service robustness.

Required profile

• 6–10 years of experience in SRE, production engineering or backend engineering in cloud‑native environments.
• Proven track record of owning systems from design through production operation and continuous improvement.
• Strong understanding of distributed‑system failure modes, networking, load balancing and container orchestration.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
