Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Cloud & Kubernetes

About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our cutting‑edge infrastructure team. You will work on both cloud‑native Azure AKS clusters and air‑gapped on‑prem Kubernetes platforms, ensuring they remain reliable, secure, and performant.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and scale Azure AKS and Rancher RKE2 (air‑gapped) Kubernetes environments.
• Operate secure, resilient platforms covering ingress, storage, and stateful workloads.
• Automate deployments and operations using Terraform, Ansible, Bicep, Python, Bash, and Go.
• Drive GitOps practices with ArgoCD and Kustomize.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Handle container supply‑chain security, image scanning, and private registry mirroring for disconnected sites.
• Implement observability with Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, and OpenTelemetry.
• Lead incident response, root‑cause analysis, and post‑mortem improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to support modern Kubernetes platforms.

Required profile

• 10+ years of SRE or platform engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Azure cloud services, networking, and security.
• Hands‑on experience with AKS and self‑managed Kubernetes (Rancher RKE2 preferred).
• Proven track record in incident management and production troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting secure, regulated, or air‑gapped environments.
