Senior Software Engineer – C# & TypeScript

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design and deliver major features across our C# and TypeScript stack. The role is based in Abu Dhabi and requires three days a week on‑site, offering the chance to work on high‑impact fintech solutions in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and ship end‑to‑end features in C# and TypeScript.
• Make non‑trivial technical decisions, document them and defend choices.
• Collaborate with client development teams and stakeholders on integration design and delivery sequencing.
• Set and uphold code‑quality standards, conduct thorough code reviews across the team.
• Mentor engineers through pairing, design reviews and direct feedback.
• Participate in production incident response and post‑incident analysis.

Required profile

• Proven experience building production systems in C#.
• Ability to become productive quickly in TypeScript/Node.js or existing experience.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, concurrency and distributed‑system failure modes.
• Solid SQL knowledge, including indexing and query‑plan optimisation.
• Experience operating services in production with logging, metrics, alerting and on‑call duties.
• Effective communication and ability to work across organisational boundaries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (preferred).
