Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Callsign is looking for a technical leader who can transition from writing code to architecting scalable systems, mentoring junior developers, and aligning technical solutions with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead system design and create high‑level and low‑level technical specifications.
• Mentor junior and mid‑level engineers, provide code reviews and feedback.
• Break down complex features into actionable tasks, set realistic timelines and manage resources.
• Collaborate with product managers and executives to translate technical concepts into business terms.
• Diagnose and resolve difficult software issues, refactor legacy code and manage technical debt.

Required profile

• Strong fundamentals in software development and computer science.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language used at Callsign.
• Understanding of relational and non‑relational databases.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and designing large‑scale, resilient, secure architectures.
