Senior Solution Architect – Digital Products & Security

About the role

GSSTech Group is seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect to lead the design of secure, resilient and high‑performance digital products and onboarding platforms. You will work closely with product owners, engineering, security and other architecture functions to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enforce architecture standards, guidelines, patterns and best practices.
• Design end‑to‑end solutions for web, mobile, micro‑services, APIs and cloud‑native ecosystems.
• Ensure designs balance user experience, performance, scalability, reliability, availability and security.
• Collaborate with Information Security teams to meet confidentiality, integrity and regulatory requirements.
• Lead architecture peer reviews, mentorship of junior architects and knowledge‑sharing workshops.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years designing web, mobile and micro‑service applications.
• Strong background in cloud‑native technologies and container orchestration.
• At least 3 years in security architecture, with hands‑on experience embedding security controls.
• Proven ability to work autonomously while influencing cross‑functional stakeholders.

Required skills

• Solution & application architecture, micro‑services, API design, event‑driven architecture.
• Containers, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Service Mesh, virtualization.
• Cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, AWS, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Security concepts: authentication, authorization, encryption, OWASP Top 10, logging & monitoring.
• Enterprise integration: message brokers, event streams, distributed systems.
