Senior Solution Architect

About the role

Engine by Starling is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to lead technical engagements with banks and financial institutions worldwide. The role bridges sales and delivery, helping clients understand and adopt Engine’s SaaS banking platform.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the senior technical point of contact for current and prospective clients.
• Explain Engine’s technology and architecture, uncover client requirements, and design tailored solutions.
• Participate in both sales and delivery phases of projects, ensuring successful implementation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Technology, Delivery, Product, Client Success and Business Development.
• Support ongoing client success and contribute to feature delivery.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with extensive experience in solution architecture for banking or financial services.
• Proven background in large‑scale cloud applications and SaaS platforms.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment and engage with clients worldwide.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders.
