Senior Solutions Architect

About the role

HCLTech is seeking a highly talented and self‑motivated Senior Solutions Architect to drive innovative core‑banking solutions. You will work within a diverse, global team to design resilient, secure, and cloud‑native banking platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Lead or participate in at least three projects designing and architecting core‑banking implementations using microservices and API‑based ecosystems.
• Develop and maintain architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices for core‑banking applications.
• Collaborate with Agile teams, employing Tribes, Squads, and Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Integrate banking systems with switches, third‑party ecosystems, REST APIs, ISO8583, and event‑stream platforms.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience building end‑to‑end designs for core‑banking applications (e.g., Finacle) and cloud‑native infrastructures.
• Strong functional knowledge of banking, accounting, payments, or settlements, with a willingness to learn new domains.
• Deep understanding of cyber‑security controls, regulatory requirements (PCI‑DSS, GDPR, UAE Central Bank), and threat modelling.
• Familiarity with AI concepts such as machine learning, generative AI, large language models, and vector databases.

• APIs, message brokers, event streams, microservices
• Container‑based / cloud‑native infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Integration protocols (REST, ISO8583, switches)
• Cyber‑security controls: authentication, authorization, encryption, data security, logging
• Agile methodologies: Tribes, Squads, sprint planning, retrospectives
• AI/ML technologies: machine learning, generative AI, LLMs, RAG, embedding models, vector databases, GitHub Copilot, Claude
