Senior Specialist – Change and Release

About the role

The Senior Specialist – Change and Release will enable safe, predictable product changes and releases, coordinating risk, readiness and communication across internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and improve change enablement and release practices, applying policies and escalating exceptions.
• Review changes for impact, dependencies, risk, testing evidence and recovery readiness.
• Maintain standard, normal and emergency change paths and develop pre‑authorised change models.
• Coordinate release calendars, confirm readiness with engineering, quality and support, and facilitate go/no‑go decisions.
• Capture change and release evidence from pipelines, manage release notes and stakeholder updates.
• Track post‑release health, coordinate recovery actions and report on change performance.

Required profile

• Strong practical experience coordinating production changes and software releases across multiple technical teams.
• Working knowledge of ITIL change enablement and release management.
• Understanding of software delivery lifecycles, CI/CD pipelines and version control.
• Ability to challenge incomplete release plans and work constructively with engineers.
