Senior Specialist FinTech Supervision

About the role

The Senior Specialist FinTech Supervision will join the FinTech Supervision (Intermediary) team within the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) of ADGM. The role provides day‑to‑day supervisory oversight of virtual‑asset broker‑dealer entities that hold Financial Services Permissions.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in desk‑based and on‑site inspections, reviewing policies, operations and business models of supervised intermediaries.
• Assist in developing and following up risk‑mitigation plans, thematic reviews and regulatory reporting for intermediary firms.
• Liaise with regulated firms to address supervisory issues and improve governance and risk‑management practices.
• Support the development of regulatory frameworks addressing risks faced by virtual‑asset and fiat‑referenced token entities.
• Provide continuous supervisory oversight of VA broker‑dealer entities, reporting to the Manager – Supervision (Intermediary).
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across the Authorisation & FinTech division and the wider FSRA.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supervisory oversight of virtual‑asset intermediaries or similar regulated financial activities.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, systemic risk considerations and cross‑border coordination.
• Ability to analyse technology‑driven business models and assess associated risks.
• Excellent communication skills for effective liaison with regulated firms and internal teams.
