Senior Specialist - Fullstack Engineer

About the role

This Senior Specialist - Fullstack Engineer position in Dubai focuses on designing, developing and maintaining high-quality, responsive and scalable enterprise websites. The role also covers HCL Digital Experience (HCL DX / HCL TX) CMS capabilities and headless CMS architectures, working with business stakeholders, UX/UI designers, solution architects, backend developers, QA teams and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain enterprise websites with React.js, Next.js, TypeScript and modern frontend technologies, ensuring performance, accessibility, security and a good user experience.
• Integrate HCL DX / HCL TX CMS features such as content models, authoring workflows, reusable components, templates and content delivery.
• Implement headless CMS by connecting HCL TX content APIs and REST services to React/Next.js frontends.
• Develop reusable frontend components, shared UI libraries, design systems and modular website architectures.
• Own the full website lifecycle: requirements analysis, design, development, code reviews, unit and integration testing, deployment and production support.
• Optimise performance, Core Web Vitals, SEO, accessibility, caching and rendering (SSR, SSG, ISR).
• Connect websites to enterprise systems such as REST APIs, CRM, lead management, authentication, search, analytics and third-party apps.
• Apply secure web practices: authentication and authorisation, API security, input validation, secure sessions and vulnerability remediation.
• Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments via Git-based workflows and DevOps tools.
• Troubleshoot complex frontend, CMS, API and production issues and contribute to documentation, code quality standards and architectural reviews.
