Senior Specialist - Procurement and Supply Chain Management

About the role

The Senior Specialist is a standalone position within Sanad Asset Management's Procurement and Supply Chain Management section, reporting directly to the Director of Asset Management. The role covers the procure-to-pay cycle, RFP and tendering, purchase orders, delivery tracking and repair vendor contracts. It is initially independent, laying the foundation for future team expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full procure-to-pay cycle, from requisition and purchase orders to invoice verification and payment reconciliation, in line with internal controls and audit requirements.
• Lead RFP and tender processes across all spend categories, draft tender documents, evaluate bids, negotiate and present sourcing recommendations.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders on purchase orders and delivery tracking, keeping accurate records in the ERP system.
• Negotiate and manage repair vendor contracts and SLAs, monitor vendor performance against KPIs and handle renewals, amendments and disputes.
• Manage warehousing, transportation and export control compliance, including vendor management and policy setup.
• Act as the sole owner of the supply chain function, setting up processes and documentation standards and escalating resourcing risks as needed.

Required profile

• 7 to 10 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles, preferably in aviation MRO or aerospace.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field; a master's degree and certifications such as CIPS or SCMP are an advantage.
• Proven ability to run a full procurement function independently and manage several concurrent tasks.
