Senior Specialist – Strategic Support

About the role

The Senior Specialist – Strategic Support will drive performance monitoring, governance, and strategic project execution for Dubai Careers under the Smart Dubai Initiative. You will work closely with senior leadership to ensure data‑driven decisions and alignment with organisational priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Follow up on RTA financial performance and departmental progress, providing status reviews and recommended actions.
• Manage statistical databases and KPI programmes, monitor indicators, and suggest improvements for decision‑making.
• Support governance framework implementation and enhance efficiency of performance‑indicator systems.
• Review high‑sensitivity strategic files, track progress, and flag deviations.
• Prioritise strategic initiatives, deliver decision‑option inputs to the DG/Chairman.
• Coordinate portfolio‑support tasks for critical projects, ensuring alignment with leadership priorities.
• Lead periodic performance reporting, perform analysis checks, and prepare executive summaries.
• Organise the annual Dubai International Project Management Forum (DIPMF) sessions and related logistics.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in strategic support, performance monitoring, or related fields.
• Proven ability to work with statistical databases, KPI systems, and governance frameworks.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience preparing executive‑level reports.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
