Senior Specialist - Supervision

About the role

The Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) is seeking a Senior Specialist to support the Supervision Division in overseeing banks, insurers, money service providers and capital‑market intermediaries within the Abu Dhabi Global Market. The role works closely with managers to implement supervisory frameworks and ensure compliance with FSRA regulations and international best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in delivering short‑ and long‑term objectives of the Supervision Section and develop supervisory policies, rules and procedures.
• Supervise assigned institutions for compliance with relevant rules, conduct periodic risk and impact assessments, and draft supervisory work plans.
• Execute supervisory reviews, analyse prudential conditions, and monitor adherence to the Financial Crime Prevention framework.
• Promptly address deficiencies, follow‑up on corrective actions, and maintain ongoing communication with regulated entities.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Authorisation and other FSRA groups.
• Participate in projects and additional tasks delegated by senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
• 6‑8 years of experience in financial supervision, regulatory compliance, or a related financial‑services industry role.
