Senior Structural Engineer

About the role

SOCOTEC is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to provide high‑quality engineering services for building and infrastructure projects in the UAE and abroad. You will act as the technical representative of SOCOTEC with clients, authorities, and project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver structural design review and engineering services for diverse projects.
• Coordinate project details according to client requirements and attend client/authority meetings.
• Perform site visits, inspections, and on‑site meetings as required.
• Identify business opportunities and support the Commercial team with fee proposals and quotations.
• Collaborate with the Technical Manager and Accountant for reporting, invoicing, and financial analysis.
• Ensure work complies with SOCOTEC policies, quality standards, and health‑safety procedures.
• Lead quality‑assurance activities, including document review, supervision, audits, and mentoring of junior staff.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with extensive experience in structural engineering.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and represent the company in meetings.
• Strong understanding of construction and infrastructure standards in the UAE.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
